Ingredients

  • 1 medium head medium head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized florets
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour (can substitute gluten-free flour)
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce (e.g., Frank’s RedHot)
  • as needed spray Olive oil spray

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut the cauliflower into even, bite-sized florets and make sure they are dry.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt until smooth.
  3. Toss the cauliflower florets in the batter until fully coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket lightly with olive oil spray.
  2. Arrange the battered florets in a single layer in the basket. Avoid overcrowding.
  3. Air fry for 7 minutes.
  4. Flip or shake the basket and air fry for another 7-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
  5. Warm the buffalo sauce slightly in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
  6. In a large bowl, toss the cooked bites with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
  7. Optional: For extra crispiness, return the sauced bites to the air fryer for another 2-3 minutes.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes.
