Preparation
- Cut the cauliflower into even, bite-sized florets and make sure they are dry.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, water, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and salt until smooth.
- Toss the cauliflower florets in the batter until fully coated.
Cooking
- Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and spray the basket lightly with olive oil spray.
- Arrange the battered florets in a single layer in the basket. Avoid overcrowding.
- Air fry for 7 minutes.
- Flip or shake the basket and air fry for another 7-8 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Warm the buffalo sauce slightly in the microwave for about 20 seconds.
- In a large bowl, toss the cooked bites with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- Optional: For extra crispiness, return the sauced bites to the air fryer for another 2-3 minutes.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the air fryer for a few minutes.
