Ingredients
  

Marinade
  • 1 cup plain yogurt Acts as the base for the marinade.
  • 2 tablespoons tandoori masala Adjust the amount for desired spiciness.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds acidity and brightness to the marinade.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced For aromatic flavor.
  • 1 inch ginger, minced Adds warmth and spice to the marinade.
  • to taste salt Enhances overall flavor.
Chicken
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs or breasts Use bone-in for juicier results.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For brushing the chicken before cooking.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, and salt.
  2. Add the chicken and coat it well with the marinade. Marinate for at least 1 hour or ideally overnight.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly brush the chicken with olive oil.
  3. Place the chicken in the air fryer basket and cook for 25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through, flipping halfway.
Serving
  1. Serve hot with naan bread or rice. Add a side of fresh salad or yogurt sauce, and garnish with cilantro or lemon wedges.

Notes

Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking and adjust spices as desired.
