  • 1/2 cup sugar or sweetener of choice Adjust the amount according to your taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances the flavor.
  • 1 pinch salt Balances the sweetness.
Optional Mix-ins
  • chocolate chips Add according to preference.
  • nuts Choose your favorite varieties.
  • fruit Fresh or frozen can be used.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, combine the almond milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt.
  2. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
Churning
  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer's instructions.
  2. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the mixture into a shallow container and freeze. Stir every 30 minutes until it reaches a creamy consistency.
Finishing
  1. If desired, fold in any mix-ins before the final freeze.
  2. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer. Best consumed within a week. If it hardens too much, let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes before scooping.
