Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces ripe avocados Make sure they are ripe for the best texture.
  • 1 cup almond milk (or your favorite non-dairy milk) Regular milk can be used if you're not keeping it vegan.
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder Choose unsweetened cocoa powder for less sugar.
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup or agave syrup Adjust the sweetness to your taste.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • a pinch salt

Method

Preparation
  1. Start by cutting the avocados in half and removing the pits. Scoop the flesh into a blender.
  2. Add almond milk, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt to the blender.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy. Make sure there are no lumps.
Freezing
  1. Pour the mixture into popsicle molds. Tap the molds gently to remove any air bubbles.
  2. Insert sticks into the molds and freeze for at least 4-6 hours, or until solid.
Serving
  1. When ready to enjoy, run warm water over the outside of the molds for a few seconds to help release the fudgesicles.

Notes

These fudgesicles are best served straight from the freezer on a hot day. Pair them with fresh fruit, like sliced bananas or berries, or drizzle with melted dark chocolate for extra flavor.
