  • 1 cup almond flour Gluten-free flour base for the crackers.
  • 1 cup grated beets Adds color and sweetness; grate finely.
  • 1/4 cup water Adjust as necessary for dough consistency.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt To enhance flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder Adds savory flavor.
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder Enhances the base flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, grated beets, water, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water.
  4. Roll out the dough between two sheets of parchment paper to about 1/8 inch thickness.
  5. Cut into desired shapes and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Baking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until crispy.
  2. Let them cool before enjoying your crunchy beet crackers.

Notes

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. For longer storage, refrigerate and let come to room temperature before serving. Can freeze in an airtight container with parchment paper between layers.
