  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Provides sweetness; adjust depending on taste preference.
  • 1/4 cup almond butter or peanut butter Adds creaminess; could substitute with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free version.
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract For additional flavor.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the vanilla protein powder and almond flour.
  2. Add the honey or maple syrup, almond butter, mini chocolate chips, and vanilla extract.
  3. Mix until all ingredients are well combined and form a dough-like consistency.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  5. If desired, roll the balls in sprinkles for decoration.
  6. Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.

Notes

Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or freeze them for up to three months. Thaw in the fridge before consuming.
