Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Wrap each Little Smokie in a piece of bacon and secure it with a toothpick.
- Place the wrapped sausages on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar and maple syrup (if using) with black pepper.
- Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the bacon-wrapped sausages.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked and crispy.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze tightly wrapped sausages. Reheat in the oven until warm.
