  • 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup caramel sauce Additional for dipping, if desired
  • 1/2 cup diced apples Fresh, peeled apples
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts Optional; can substitute with seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup Optional; for additional sweetness

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, protein powder, applesauce, caramel sauce, diced apples, nuts (if using), and cinnamon.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
  3. If the mixture is too dry, add honey or maple syrup to achieve a sticky consistency.
  4. Roll the mixture into bite-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.

Notes

Serve these protein bites as a snack or an energy boost. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week or freeze for up to three months.
