Method
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Hollow out the French bread halves slightly to create enough room for the creamy lobster filling.
- Combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine the chopped lobster, heavy cream, mozzarella, and Parmesan. Mix gently until the lobster is evenly coated in the creamy cheese mixture.
- Spoon the creamy lobster filling generously into each French bread half. Brush the exposed bread edges with the garlic butter mixture.
- Place the lobster bread boats on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bread edges are golden and crispy.
- Sprinkle the cheesy garlic lobster bread boats with fresh parsley and serve hot while the lobster filling is creamy and the cheese is melted.
Notes
Hollow the French bread halves only slightly so they still have enough structure to hold the creamy lobster filling.
Mix the lobster filling gently so the cooked lobster stays in tender pieces.
Brush the exposed bread edges with garlic butter before baking for extra flavor and crispness.
Bake until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly and the bread edges are golden.
Serve immediately while the lobster filling is creamy and the cheese is hot.
