Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients
  • 8 pieces Taco shells
  • 2 cups Shredded cheese (cheddar or Mexican blend) Use your preferred cheese blend.
  • 1 cup Cooked ground beef or turkey
  • 1 packet Taco seasoning Adjust according to taste.
For Serving
  • 1 cup Sour cream For dipping.
  • 1 cup Salsa For dipping.
For Frying
  • 2 cups Oil For frying.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  2. In a bowl, mix the cooked ground beef with taco seasoning.
  3. Take a taco shell, fill it with the meat mixture, and top with shredded cheese.
  4. Wrap the taco tightly and secure it with a toothpick if necessary.
Cooking
  1. Fry the taco sticks in the hot oil until golden and crispy, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
  2. Drain on paper towels.

Notes

Serve Cheesy Taco Sticks while they are warm, with a side of sour cream and salsa for dipping. If you have any leftovers, allow them to cool completely. Store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
