Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle marinara sauce over the meatballs.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top and return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Serving
- Serve warm, garnished with more parsley if desired.
Notes
Use fresh herbs for better flavor—basil or oregano can be great additions. If the meatball mixture feels too wet, add a bit more breadcrumbs to help it hold its shape. Make your meatballs uniform in size for even cooking. For a crispy finish, broil them for a few minutes after baking.
