  • 1/2 cup nut butter (e.g., almond butter, peanut butter) Use your favorite nut butter
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup Adjust for sweetness
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips Optional, for extra chocolatey flavor

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chocolate protein powder, nut butter, cocoa powder, and maple syrup.
  2. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
  3. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  4. Roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
  5. Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set.
  7. Enjoy as a pre-workout snack or post-workout dessert.

Notes

Store truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage, separating with parchment paper.
