  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips Feel free to use other types of chocolate.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pop the popcorn kernels using an air popper or on the stovetop and place them in a large bowl.
Making the Caramel
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring until it comes to a boil.
  2. Add the ground cinnamon and continue to cook for 1-2 minutes.
Combining
  1. Pour the caramel mixture over the popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
  2. Sprinkle with salt to taste and add dark chocolate chips.
  3. Allow to cool slightly, then enjoy your indulgent snack!

Notes

Cinnamon Popcorn is best served warm in a big bowl or in individual cups for easier sharing at parties. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days, although they're best enjoyed fresh.
