  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup For added sweetness.
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup protein powder (optional) For added protein.
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese For drizzling.
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar For drizzling.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, honey or maple syrup, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
  2. If using, add the protein powder and mix again.
  3. Form the mixture into small bite-sized balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  5. Drizzle the cream cheese mixture over the energy bites.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to set. Enjoy your healthy snack!

Notes
