  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter For cooking, more butter can be added as needed.

Preparation
  1. In a shallow bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and sugar until well combined.
  2. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter, letting it melt.
  3. Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, making sure to coat both sides well. Let the excess drip off.
Cooking
  1. Place the coated bread into the heated skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  2. Repeat with the remaining slices, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.
Serving
  1. Serve warm with maple syrup drizzled on top, and consider adding powdered sugar or fresh fruits for garnish.

Notes
