Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • to taste Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika to create the marinade.
  3. Place the chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated.
  4. Allow the chicken to marinate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight in the fridge for more flavor).
Cooking
  1. Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and has an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  2. Optional: Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a crispy finish.
  3. Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh herbs if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For added flavor, let the chicken marinate longer, even up to overnight. Adjust honey or mustard based on your taste preference for sweetness or tanginess. For heat, add red pepper flakes to the marinade.
