Ingredients
  

Dough Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 1/2 cup milk Warm but not hot.
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Filling Ingredients
  • 1 cup crushed cookies (like Oreos)
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, salt, and yeast.
  2. Heat milk until warm (not hot), then mix in melted butter. Add this to the dry ingredients.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface until it is smooth.
  5. Let it rise in a warm spot until it doubles in size, about 1 hour.
Assembly
  1. Roll out the dough and sprinkle the crushed cookies and cinnamon on top.
  2. Roll the dough tightly and slice it into rolls.
  3. Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
Baking
  1. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.

Notes

Serve warm, straight out of the oven or with a drizzle of icing. Store in an airtight container at room temperature or freeze for up to a month.
