Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
- Blend the cottage cheese and egg until smooth.
- Mix in the flour, baking powder, and vanilla until a dough forms.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle.
- Spread melted butter over the dough.
- Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly and slice it into 6 rolls.
- Place the rolls on a baking tray or in a muffin tin.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
- Serve the rolls warm, straight from the oven, optionally dusted with powdered sugar or a glaze.
Storage
- Let the rolls cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2–3 days.
- For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil; can be frozen for up to a month.
Notes
Make sure your cottage cheese is well-blended for smoother texture. Avoid overworking the dough to keep rolls light. Add chocolate chips or nuts for variation.
