Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 200 g cottage cheese Well-blended for smooth texture.
  • 1 unit egg
  • 120 g flour All-purpose flour can be used.
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp melted butter Plus extra for brushing after baking.
  • 1 tbsp honey Can substitute with maple syrup.
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Blend the cottage cheese and egg until smooth.
  3. Mix in the flour, baking powder, and vanilla until a dough forms.
  4. Roll the dough into a rectangle.
  5. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  6. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  7. Roll the dough tightly and slice it into 6 rolls.
  8. Place the rolls on a baking tray or in a muffin tin.
  9. Bake for 15–20 minutes or until golden brown.
Serving
  1. Serve the rolls warm, straight from the oven, optionally dusted with powdered sugar or a glaze.
Storage
  1. Let the rolls cool completely, then store in an airtight container in the fridge for 2–3 days.
  2. For freezing, wrap tightly in plastic wrap and aluminum foil; can be frozen for up to a month.

Notes

Make sure your cottage cheese is well-blended for smoother texture. Avoid overworking the dough to keep rolls light. Add chocolate chips or nuts for variation.
