Main Ingredients
  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream Use plain for traditional flavor.
  • 1/4 cup sweetener (honey, sugar, or sugar substitute) Adjust to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 scoop protein powder (flavor of your choice)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings
  • to taste protein whipped cream
  • to taste freeze-dried blueberries For added crunch.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a blender or food processor, combine cottage cheese, yogurt, sweetener, lemon juice, protein powder, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.
  3. Transfer the mousse to serving bowls or glasses and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to set.
  4. Before serving, top with homemade protein whipped cream and sprinkle with freeze-dried blueberries for added crunch.

Notes

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. For best flavor, enjoy within the first couple of days.
