- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add the baby carrots.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
- Drain the carrots and return them to the pot.
- Add butter, brown sugar, salt, and pepper.
- Stir over medium heat until the carrots are well coated and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve warm.
Notes
Feel free to add a hint of nutmeg or cinnamon for a warm, seasonal flavor. Leftover baby carrots can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
