Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond butter, and honey until well mixed.
  2. Stir in the dried cranberries, orange zest, protein powder (if using), nuts or seeds (if using), and a pinch of salt until fully combined.
  3. Refrigerate the mixture for about 30 minutes for easier handling.
  4. Once chilled, scoop out small amounts of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls.
