Ingredients

For the Chicken
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup panko bread crumbs For a crunchy coating
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For the Bang Bang Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (optional) For extra spice
For Garnish
  • Green onions, chopped For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, season the chicken pieces with salt and pepper.
  3. Dredge the chicken first in flour, then dip it in the beaten egg, and finally coat it with panko bread crumbs.
Cooking
  1. Place the breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer and cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
Sauce Preparation
  1. While the chicken is cooking, mix together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha in a separate bowl to create the Bang Bang sauce.
Serving
  1. Once the chicken is done, toss it in the Bang Bang sauce until well coated.
  2. Serve immediately, garnished with chopped green onions.

Notes

For best results, preheat the air fryer and avoid overcrowding the basket. Chicken can be served with extra Bang Bang sauce for dipping.
