Ingredients

  • 4 lobster tails
  • 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ΒΎ cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Β½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • Β½ teaspoon paprika
  • Β½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ΒΌ teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • Β½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • Lemon wedges, optional for serving

Equipment

  • oven Preheated to 425Β°F.
  • Kitchen shears For cutting through the lobster shells.
  • Baking sheet For baking the lobster tails.
  • mixing bowls For preparing the garlic butter and Parmesan topping.
  • pastry brush For brushing the lobster meat with garlic butter.

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 425Β°F. Cut through the top of each lobster shell with kitchen shears. Gently loosen the meat and lift it over the shell, keeping it attached at the tail.
  2. Combine 3 tablespoons melted butter with the minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Brush the lobster meat generously with the garlic butter.
  3. Mix the panko, Parmesan, garlic powder, olive oil, and remaining 2 tablespoons melted butter until crumbly. Spoon the topping over each lobster tail, leaving some meat visible around the edges.
  4. Arrange the lobster tails on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 14 minutes, depending on size, until the lobster is opaque and reaches 145Β°F internally. Broil briefly if needed to give the Parmesan topping a golden, crispy finish.
  5. Sprinkle the crispy garlic Parmesan lobster tails with fresh chives. Serve immediately with lemon wedges, if desired.

Notes
