Preparation
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning mix on top of the chicken.
- Pour the barbecue sauce over everything.
Cooking
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender.
- Shred the chicken with two forks in the crockpot.
Serving
- Serve the shredded chicken on burger buns, with coleslaw on the side if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, try adding a splash of hot sauce or extra barbecue sauce to the crockpot. If you want a thicker sauce, remove the chicken once it’s cooked and let the sauce reduce on the stovetop for a few minutes before serving.
