Method
 

Preparation
  1. Place the cubed steaks in the crockpot.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the beef broth, cream of mushroom soup, sliced onion, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour the mixture over the cubed steaks.
  4. If using, add mushrooms for extra flavor.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the meat is tender.
  6. Serve garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, sear the cubed steaks before adding them to the crockpot. You can add vegetables like carrots or potatoes for a complete meal. Adjust seasonings to taste; try herbs like thyme or rosemary for a different flavor. Thicken gravy with cornstarch slurry if desired.
