Ingredients
  

For the salmon
  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (6 oz each) Pat dry with paper towels.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Adds brightness to the dish.

  • Chopped for garnish green onions Adds a fresh finishing touch.
For the glaze
  • 1/4 cup honey For the glaze.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use low-sodium for a healthier option if desired.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the glaze.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and lemon juice. This will be your glaze.
  3. Place the salmon fillets in the baking dish, skin side down. Season them lightly with salt and pepper.
  4. Pour the honey garlic glaze over the salmon, ensuring each piece is well coated.
Cooking
  1. Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. You can broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a caramelized top.

Notes

If you have leftovers, let the salmon cool to room temperature, then store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave before serving.
