Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine rolled oats, diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together milk and eggs.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
- Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
Baking
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and golden brown on top.
- Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm. Optionally, sprinkle with nuts before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with yogurt, a splash of milk, maple syrup, or additional fresh fruits. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
