- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken and cook until golden brown on both sides and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan.
- Stir in lemon zest and butter until melted and combined.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and coat with the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.

Serve alongside rice, mashed potatoes, or a fresh green salad. For extra flavor, consider adding capers or olives. You can also substitute chicken with fish for a lighter option.
