Cooking
- Spread the beets on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Roast in the oven for 30-40 minutes, or until they are tender and easily pierced with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Serve the roasted beets warm or at room temperature. They make a wonderful side dish alongside meats or can be tossed into salads for added color and flavor. For an extra touch, garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or dill.
