  • 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes Choose your preferred cut of steak.
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons Adds freshness to the dish.
  • 3 tablespoons butter For that rich flavor.
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking the steak.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • to taste fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish Optional.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Pat the steak bites dry with paper towels and season them with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cooking
  1. Add steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer, and sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the zucchini to the skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
  4. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together to coat with the garlic butter.
  5. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the steak is heated through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve hot with a side of rice, pasta, or a fresh salad. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
