Method
- Toss the steak with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, black pepper, and salt.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Sear the steak for 2 to 4 minutes per side, until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove and set aside.
- Add 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet. Add the shrimp and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side, until pink and opaque. Remove and set aside.
- Add the remaining 3 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 30 to 60 seconds, until fragrant.
- Add the corn and broccoli. Toss in the garlic butter and cook until the vegetables are tender and lightly browned.
- Return the steak and shrimp to the skillet. Toss gently until everything is coated in the garlic butter sauce.
- Add the red pepper flakes and lemon juice. Taste and adjust the seasoning, then sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.
Notes
Cook the steak to your preferred doneness and avoid overcooking the shrimp. The corn and broccoli should be tender and lightly browned before returning the steak and shrimp to the skillet.
