Ingredients
  

Wet ingredients
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Make sure it is at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 unit egg
Dry ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
Add-ins
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the Greek yogurt, softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and egg.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  2. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  3. Let cool on the sheets for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. Freeze for longer storage (up to three months).
