Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes Peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For coating
  • 1 teaspoon salt To taste
  • ½ teaspoon paprika Optional, for flavor
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder Optional, for flavor
  • Freshly ground black pepper To taste

Method

Preparation
  1. Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into thin strips, about 1/4 inch thick.
  2. In a large bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with olive oil, salt, paprika, garlic powder, and pepper until evenly coated.
Cooking
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  2. Place the sweet potato fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
  3. Cook the fries for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. Cook until they are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Remove the fries and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Sweet potato fries are best served hot. Pair with your favorite dipping sauce like ketchup or ranch. For storage, let them cool completely and store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheating may result in less crispiness.
