Method

Preparation

  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet.
Cooking
  1. Bake meatballs in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Meanwhile, heat the honey BBQ sauce in a saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Once the meatballs are done, add them to the honey BBQ sauce, stirring until they are well coated.
Serving
  1. Serve the meatballs over fluffy cooked rice and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

For added moisture and flavor, consider adding finely chopped onions or bell peppers to the meat mixture. If you want the meatballs to be extra juicy, try using a mix of beef and turkey. Experiment with different BBQ sauces to customize the flavor to your liking. Be careful not to overbake the meatballs; check for doneness at 15 minutes to ensure they stay tender.
