  • 4 fillets salmon fillets Fresh or thawed salmon
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Low sodium soy sauce can be used
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Freshly minced for best flavor
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For cooking
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • Chopped green onions for garnish Optional, for serving

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a small bowl, mix together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and olive oil.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
Cooking
  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the salmon fillets skin-side down.
  2. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the salmon.
  3. Cook for about 4-6 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
