Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 24 slices Genoa salami, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is softened for easy mixing.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chives, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper

Method

Preparation
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped dill, chives, shredded cheddar, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix with a spatula until the ingredients are fully incorporated and the texture is smooth.
  2. Lay the salami slices in a single layer on a clean cutting board or a sheet of parchment paper.
  3. Spread approximately 2 teaspoons of the cream cheese mixture evenly across the surface of each salami slice, leaving a small margin at the edges to prevent overflow.
  4. Roll each salami slice tightly into a cylinder. If the salami is particularly stiff, secure the seam with a toothpick.
  5. Place the assembled roll-ups on a plate or tray and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow the cream cheese to set and the flavors to meld.
Serving
  1. Serve chilled as a high-fat, low-carb snack or party appetizer.

Notes
