- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Sear chicken in the skillet for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add chopped sun-dried tomatoes and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream, chicken broth, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Bring to a simmer and let it thicken for about 5 minutes.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the chicken.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve garnished with fresh basil.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the garlic and onion powder overnight. You can switch up the recipe by adding mushrooms or bell peppers.
