Preparation
- Season the chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- Place the roast in the Instant Pot.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning over the roast.
- Pour the entire jar of pepperoncini peppers over the top, including the juice.
- Cut the butter into slices and place on top of the roast.
Cooking
- Close the lid of the Instant Pot and set it to high pressure for 60 minutes.
- Allow natural pressure release for 15 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Remove the roast, shred it with forks, and serve with mashed potatoes, rice, or on sandwich rolls.
Notes
For richer flavor, sear the roast in a skillet before cooking. Feel free to add vegetables like carrots or potatoes. For more heat, add sliced jalapeƱos with the pepperoncini.
