- In a large bowl, mix together the finely chopped pecans, graham cracker crumbs, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- In a separate bowl, combine the butter, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Melt this mixture in the microwave or on the stove until smooth.
- Pour the melted mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until everything is well combined.
- Once fully mixed, chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- After chilling, scoop out small portions and roll them into balls using your hands.
- Dip the balls into melted chocolate and then roll them in the chopped pecans for garnish.
- Place the finished balls on a parchment-lined tray and let them set in the fridge for another 30 minutes.
Notes
Store the pecan pie balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week. They can also be frozen for longer storage.
