Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
  3. Stir in the creamy peanut butter, oats, honey (if using), vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
  4. If desired, fold in chocolate chips or nuts.
Baking
  1. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
