  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional) Add for extra flavor.
  • as needed Cooking spray or olive oil (for greasing)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles.
  3. Place a spoonful of marinara sauce on each triangle, followed by a few slices of pepperoni and a sprinkle of mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll up the dough starting from the wide end to the point, sealing the edges.
  5. Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Lightly spray the tops with cooking spray or brush with olive oil, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
Baking
  1. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  2. Serve warm with additional marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. To reheat, pop them in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes or microwave them until warmed through.
