  • 1-2 tablespoons pumpkin puree Canned pumpkin puree works perfectly!
  • 1-2 tablespoons sugar Adjust according to your taste; you can also use honey or maple syrup.
  • 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Toppings (Optional)
  • whipped cream For topping
  • extra pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon For garnish

Method

Preparation
  1. In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat, but don’t let it boil.
  2. Whisk in the pumpkin puree, sugar, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
Brewing
  1. Remove the saucepan from the heat. In a separate cup, brew your espresso or coffee.
Assembly
  1. Pour the milk mixture over the coffee or espresso and stir to combine.
  2. If you like, top it with whipped cream and sprinkle a bit more pumpkin pie spice or cinnamon on top.
Serving
  1. Serve your Pumpkin Spice Latte warm, ideally in your favorite mug. You can add a cinnamon stick for flair.

Notes

If you make extra, you can store the pumpkin spice milk mixture in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Just stir it well before reheating. Keep your brewed coffee or espresso separate until you're ready to make your latte for the best flavor.
