  • 4 oz Cream cheese Spread evenly on the bread.
  • 2 tbsp Capers
  • 1/4 medium Red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small Cucumber, sliced
  • 2 slices Rye bread or bagels
  • 1 tbsp Fresh dill or chives
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Spread cream cheese on one side of the bread or bagel.
  2. Layer smoked salmon over the cream cheese.
  3. Top with capers, red onion, and cucumber slices.
  4. Sprinkle with fresh dill or chives, and drizzle with lemon juice.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Close the sandwich or bagel and cut in half before serving.
