Method
Cooking the Rice
- Cook the sushi rice according to package instructions.
- Once cooked, mix in rice vinegar and let it cool.
Rolling the Sushi
- On a bamboo mat, lay out a nori sheet and evenly spread a layer of sushi rice over it.
- Place sliced avocado, cucumber, and carrots on top of the rice.
- Roll the sushi tightly using the bamboo mat.
- Slice into pieces and serve with soy sauce.
Notes
Serve your sushi rolls with a small bowl of soy sauce for dipping. You can add pickled ginger and wasabi for extra flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within 24 hours.
