Ingredients
  

For the dip
  • 8 ounces cream cheese Bring to room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt Adds creaminess and thickness.
  • 8 ounces lox, chopped Smoked salmon.
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped For added flavor.
  • 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and drained
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons chives, chopped
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • Lemon juice (optional) To taste.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  2. Stir in the chopped lox, red onion, capers, dill, and chives.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice to taste.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
  5. Serve chilled with crackers, veggies, or as a spread.

Notes

This dip is best served chilled. It can last up to a week in the refrigerator, just stir before serving if it has solidified. Variations include adding horseradish for a kick or using different types of smoked fish.
