- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Stir in the brown sugar and cinnamon until well combined.
- Cut the bananas in half lengthwise and add them to the skillet. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the bananas become tender.
- If using, carefully add the banana liqueur and rum. Allow the mixture to bubble for another minute.
- Serve warm over scoops of vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Best served warm. Consider adding toasted walnuts or pecans for added crunch.
