Ingredients
  

Crumble Base
  • 2.5 cups almond flour, finely blanched
  • 2 tbsp coconut flour, sifted
  • 0.33 cups monk fruit sweetener, granulated
  • 8 tbsp unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 0.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp sea salt
Filling
  • 3 cups fresh apples, peeled and finely diced (Granny Smith)
  • 0.5 cups allulose (for caramelizing)
  • 3 tbsp butter (for filling)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the almond flour, coconut flour, monk fruit sweetener, cold cubed butter, cinnamon, vanilla extract, and sea salt until the mixture is crumbly.
  3. Press half of this mixture into the bottom of your prepared baking dish to create a crust.
  4. In another bowl, combine the diced apples and allulose, tossing them lightly to coat.
  5. Spread the coated apple mixture evenly over the crust.
  6. Sprinkle the remaining crumble mixture on top of the apples.
  7. Dot the top with 3 tablespoons of butter.
  8. Bake in your preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  9. Allow the bars to cool before cutting them into squares. Enjoy them warm!

Notes

These bars can be served with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of sugar-free ice cream for an extra treat. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for about a week or freeze them for longer storage.
