- In a pan over medium-high heat, add 1 tablespoon of oil.
- Add the chopped, bite-sized tempeh cubes and fry until golden on each side. Set aside.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, water, soy sauce, and teriyaki sauce. Set aside.
- Add the remaining oil to a pan or wok over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the mixed liquids (honey, water, soy sauce, teriyaki sauce) and combine with the garlic. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Add the tempeh back to the pan and stir-fry until well-coated with the glaze, about 2-3 minutes.
Notes
Serve hot garnished with sesame seeds or green onions. Enjoy with steamed rice or whole grain noodles. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
