Ingredients
  

For the rice
  • 1 cup sushi rice Rinse well to remove excess starch.
  • 1.5 cups water
  • Vegetable oil for frying Use enough to cover the bottom of the frying pan.
For the tuna mixture
  • 1 can tuna, drained Use canned tuna for convenience.
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise Use gluten-free if needed.
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha Adjust to taste.
  • 1 teaspoon San-J No Soy Tamari Substitute with soy sauce if not gluten-free.
For assembly
  • 2 eggs Fry to your liking.
  • 1 piece avocado, sliced Fresh and ripe for the best flavor.
  • 1 piece cucumber, sliced Adds freshness.
  • 2 radishes, thinly sliced For crunch and color.
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Method
 

Preparation of Rice
  1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. In a pot, combine the rice with the water and bring it to a boil.
  3. Cover it, reduce the heat to low, and cook for 15 minutes.
  4. Let it sit off the heat for 10 minutes.
Tuna Mixture
  1. In a bowl, mix the drained tuna with mayonnaise, sriracha, and San-J No Soy Tamari.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning if needed.
Frying Rice Patties
  1. In a frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Take the cooked rice and form it into small patties.
  3. Fry the patties until crispy and golden on both sides.
Cooking Eggs
  1. In another pan, fry the eggs to your liking until the yolks are jammy.
Assembly of Bowls
  1. Place the crispy rice in a bowl.
  2. Top with the spicy tuna salad, sliced avocado, cucumber, radishes, and a fried egg.
  3. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Serve immediately.

Store leftovers separately for optimal freshness and texture. Reheat rice patties before serving.
