Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Lightly grease a 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet.
- Stretch the pizza dough into a circle or rectangle to fit the pan. Brush lightly with olive oil and pre-bake for 7–8 minutes until it’s lightly puffed.
- While the crust bakes, cook the sausage in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it up with a spoon until it’s browned and crumbly. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs with milk, salt, and pepper. Scramble them in a lightly greased skillet over medium-low heat until just set but still soft. Remove from heat.
Assembly and Cooking
- Sprinkle the partially baked crust with the thawed hash browns, then top with the cooked sausage and scrambled eggs.
- Sprinkle both cheeses evenly over the top.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes, until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly. If desired, broil for 1–2 minutes for extra browning.
Serving
- Sprinkle with chives before slicing and serving hot.
Notes
For a crispier crust, bake it a bit longer in the initial pre-baking stage. Feel free to add your favorite veggies like bell peppers or spinach for added flavor and nutrition. To save time, you can use pre-cooked sausage or diced ham instead of raw sausage. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
